I'm a software engineer based in Sydney. Most of my time goes into backend work: Node.js and TypeScript services, data modelling in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and infrastructure on Google Cloud.
Lately, that time has gone into Uplerr, an AI-powered job-search platform that's live today. It comes from a simple conviction: job seekers deserve to know exactly where they stand before they apply.
I approach software from the user's side of the screen first. The engineering exists to serve the product, which is also why I care about leaving code cleaner than I found it.
